About
Co Projects

Co Projects is an investigation of relationships and connectionsbetween objects, the materials they are made of and the narratives of people and places woveninto them.

Lookingat the objects around us with curiosity, we question their function and reimagine their form. Attempting to solve the small irritations we encounter in everyday situations, we breakordinary objects down into component parts, not for the sake of it but to make our interactions with them easier or more joyful, whilst also creating surprising and playfulformal configurations.

Conscious of the responsibility that comes with putting new objects into an already oversaturatedworld, we are dedicated to using materials that are already in circulationand have had former lives. Meaningful or banal, every existing material or object has a history. Researching their provenance allows us to recontextualise materials and give them new purpose, while also telling storiesof the people and processes that brought them into existence.

Founded by Nina Jua Klein, Co Projects is a culmination of her interest in making, research and design as a means to communicate narratives.
